Legal Question in Immigration Law in India

Query

I am an Indian & working in saudi arabia as a mechanical engineer. I got married in July 2008. My wife's age was 17 years 4 months at that time. My marriage certificate is attested by Home Department as well as Saudi Embassy in Mumbai to apply visa for my wife and I have got my Wife's visa to Saudi. Now my doubt is ''Is there any age limitation to travel outside from India for my wife because she has not completed 18 years?'' Now her age is 17 years 9 months. She will travel along with me. Is there any chance for objection for my wife's travel during immigration in the airport?

Re: Query

Your apprehensions are not free from doubt. The marriage certificate for a girl of less than 18 may not be valid. In any case, you may just take your chance. The possibility of an objection by immigration authorities cannot be ruled out.

Re: Query

The girl must be 18 for marriage in India. the marriage is void. If visa has been made available only on the ground of being spouse, the same may be cancelled by the authorities.
