Legal Question in Immigration Law in India

Sir,

I'm a registered nurse from India. I'd like to migrate to Canada.I've got the adequate points inorder to immigrate to Canada under skilled worker category. My husband was working in US on C1/D visa but he overstayed his visa for about 2 years. He is now back in India. Sir, in this context, I'd be really grateful to you if you answer my doubts given below.

1. When we apply for permanent resident visa in Canada, me as the principal applicant, will there be any problem in getting Canadian visa, since my husband has overstayed in US ?

2. Since it is necessary to obtain a police clearance certificate from US authorities for the period of stay in US, which is necessary for Canada visa processing, will there be any problem in getting the certificate since he has overstayed there ? ( He has no criminal background and no history of any arrests or detention so far)

3. Is a socal security number essential for obtaining police clearance certificate from US ?If not, what are the other options ?

Sir, I'd be really grateful to you, if you answer my quieries at the earliest.

Thanking you,

Poorna.
