Legal Question in Intellectual Property in India

Do we eligible for equal share out of ancestral property

Our Grandpa died by leaving a house at chennai during 1972,his only son who is our father has 8 children ie 4 sons,4 daughters. We got married during 1977. But father wrote will for his share inthe above property 1/6 share to be enjoyed by my mummy till her life time and later her demise the share can be distributed among 8 childrens. Now the father passed in 1998, and mummy passed in November 2007. Now we 8 childrens ie .4 sons,4 daughters are alive, our brothers do not agree to share the above property equally as per latest Hindu Succession Act 2005 among us. Kindly let me know the correct way to get equal share in the above property at Chennai which has its total area is 2400 Sq.Feet with old building.
