Legal Question in Intellectual Property in India
my grandfather has three sons before dieng he seperated his sons by dividing property among his 3 sons.there was no documentation for that.he just orally divided that, now my father want to sell his part which is not connected to our house.so my question is can my father sell that.my uncle are ready to give noc but one of my grandfather cousin brother is saying that we cant sell.. is it true... if not what my father can do.

in case the partition is oral, a suit for partition can still be filed.
