about property

i have purchase a buglow at alibag ,maharashtra 5years old construction first owner was paying grampanchyat tax and he was resiving legal slip for it . i have purchse this property at last year and i have also registered the documents legally i have got convince and also the 7/12 is transfered on my name from first owner but the grampanchyat is not attaching my name on the house tax and also the tahasildar says that the property is non n.a i also asked this matter to first owner but he says he was paying tax to grampanchyat legally as per i have also got the slip of tax paid now what action i should have to take against the grampanchyat or tahasildar

Some time the property non-transferrable. particularly if the original owner had received it by way of allotment in some scheme; e.g. a property in the name of harijan family is not transferable; this ban may be imposed to avoid making them homeless.

you may need to sort out the matter at local level; merely because the original owner was paying tax to gram panchayat, may not confer similar rights on you.
