Legal Question in International Law in India

I am an Indian and working for an offshore company Oceaneering International A.G. (Asset Group) based at Mumbai, Country Manager is Indian and Office is at Mumbai. HR related issue is looked after by Dubai Office and Admin by Singapore office. Payment is made in indian rupees at Indian standard not International standard. But all my competency is Judge as per Oceaneering International Inc. USA (OII). All the policies and mission statement of OII are to be followed. I have issues related to Indian Country Manager / Work Shop Manager and policy of OII, which are investigated by Singapore & projected to Dubai office. Their aim is to delay the matter and keep me suspended till enquiry is completed (which I think is just to torture me). I am under suspension since 28 Mar 2012.

My query is where I should try to seek legal option - India or USA.

1.Your appointment order and any agreement that you executed with your employer, your suspension order and enquriy charge sheet etc will have to be studied to determine jurisdiction.

2. It is not clear what you want to file a case for? Is it against your suspension or against torture? Based on the jurisdiction issues this can be answered. It is evident from your query that since enquiry is conducted in India , you should be able to seek remedy here in India but of course subject to my observation in para 1 above. www.lawconcern.com
