Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India

Care taker agreement

I have a flat in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. I want to give it on Leave and License basis or Caretaker basis. I understand that L & L agreement is to be registered. However, if I make a Caretaker agreement, I have to only notarize it and I will save on time and money. Please suggest which is better option from the view point of legalities and safety of my house.

Re: Care taker agreement

L & L agreement is legally safer than care taker agreement. If you 100% believe that the person you are giving the property is trustworthy and will give it back then only go for care taker agreement.

Re: Care taker agreement

The interpretation of any document has to come from the spirit of the agreement, whatsoever name you give, it would be interpreted depending upon the conduct of the parties.

It is better that you8 have a registered Lease agreement, instead of looking for short cuts, which tommorow may result in you permanently loosing your property. [email protected]
