my landlord has filed an eviction petition on the basis of a forged rent deed. the plaint says that I signed the rent deed on 25th june whereas I have a letter dated 30th june from the landlord's father saying that he is sending the rent deed for my signature. prima facie I could not have signed the rent deed before receiving it. the trial court is not looking into application under 340. is there any remedy?
yes, in case the judge is not hearing 340, you may file a private complaint before the magistrate under offence of forgery and cheating.
