Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India

landlord and tenant

My landlord has sold the property (flat) in which I reside. I have agreement with land lord for 1 year which is not completed yet. Still he is forcing me to vacate the place. What remedy I have in such case ?Should I go to Police station or from the court I can get relief?

Re: landlord and tenant

You can file suit for permanent injunction against the landlord for a decree restraining him from forciably dispossessing you from the tenanted flat.
