Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in
I live in a pagadi system house. Santacruz (west) Juhu, My house owner says that my pagadi system house was given to my grand mother and now my grand mother is death so owner is saying to go from the house or either pay the Rs1000 per month house rent insist of Rs 25. Before 4 years he was saying to pay Rs53000 of that 10by10 square feet pagadi system house. now we are ready to pay but he does agree to take it he just saying to pay rs1000 per month or go from house.
Now Please suggest me what to do, i am not in condition to buy a new house in mumbai

let him file a suit for eviction and then defend the same on true facts. he cannot evict you forcibly and in case he does so, approach the civil court for stay.
