Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
tenant is paying rent on my mothers name who was a landlady and expires a year back and we 3 brothers have become joint owners of the property still they are paying on my mothers name

Send the tenant a letter declaring the legal owner of the property and the name in whose favour rent need to be paid..

IF SHE IS LAND LADY SHE HAS EVERY RIGHT TO TAKE THE RENT ,IF YOU THINK THAT YOU ARE LANDLORD, THEN SEND THE NOTICE.
