Legal Question in Legal Malpractice in India

Mischievous lawyer?

I hired a lawyer to obtain a stay from high court against BMC who had sent wrong notices against my parked vehicles. Courts verdict was almost decided in my favour, until a so called senior lawyer managed to get the court to uphold the BMC notice only on grounds of verification of my vehicles NOT being parked on the storm drain being beyond the ability /scope of the court, hence a disputed fact.

My lawyer was given the photographic evidence proving the vehicles are parked much away from the storm drain and also photographs of the storm drain being located in such a manner as to making it impossible to park ON them as wrongly claimed by BMC.

My lawyer did not submit these photos ,despite being told by my father and he chose to rely only on sec 313/314 claiming BMC had no legal prvision of law. We lost the stay only on account of this. I had assumed he was intimidated by the opposition lawyer who charged 3 lac/hearing, however now Im aware that he is handling one of the mischievous main complainers in cahoots with rogue BMC persons instrumental in targeting my vehicles..please advise how do I go about tackling this lawyer who has misled with intent...also what is meant by 'costs to claim' in a verdict not favourable to me. thks.

Re: Mischievous lawyer?

(1) You have repeated the same question you asked before.

(2) If you are not satisfied with the orders passed by the court, you may challenge the same before higher court by way of appeal/revision, if available.
