Legal Question in Personal Injury in India

Hi,

I have an accident on 27th aug and i was drunk when it happened.Hence i paid the victim 10000 rupees,Now the victim's son is threatning me always and demanding more money.he uses abusive words on mobile and says he will throw out me from bangalore as he is a localite.Please help me what to do next as i am helpless and if he do any case is it valid now.

under the Motor Vehicle Act, there is no limitation period prescribed for claiming compensation. But, if your vehicle was insured and you had the driving licence it is the insurance company which is liable and not you. so why worry or succumb to his pressure.
