Legal Question in Personal Injury in India

My sister and mom going on bike meet an accident in which my mom is injured. (No one else is injured or nothing happen to bike). Hospital reported this to police and my mom said in police statement that she do not want to register a complain. Despite of this police is calling us and asking my sister's driving license and bike. Just wanted to know what shall be done in such case, and how to close such complains?

Take some respectable person of locality to the police to close the case. If the police still do not close the case, make a complaint reg harasmment to the senior officer / Commissioner of the police. Nowadays, such complaints can be made even online. you may also give online complaints to higher ups like Home minister, Chief Justice, chief Minister, Governor.
