i have given 2 lakh ruppes for my knowing person by keeping land document and i have maid an agreement between me and the person who have borrowed the money from me. and as well he his suppose to pay 2.5% rate of interest every month, now my question is in case if he fails to pay me the interest or principle amount can i claim his land property or what can be done?

No you can not as such you are not allowed to give loan and receive interest from the same ... so you need to say that you have given friendly loan and then file a money suit for the same..for any details do contact me at uttamtibrewal@yahoo.com
