amnesty scheme benefit

sale agreement of my flat was entered on 1st october 1998, on Rs. 50/- stamp paper but the stamp paper beares the name of my lawyer, and not the parties. can i register under Amnesty scheme 2008 mumbai? How can i rectify the mistake of my lawyer? what is the penalty and the stamp duty i need to pay under this scheme?

Amnesty scheme is not for registration.

If the sale agreement does not bear your name, you may need to get a fresh document executed in your name and then get the same registered on payment of stamp duty.

I don't think so that your mistake is curable. You need to get another Stamp Paper of Rs. 100/- for the execution of fresh agreement with the help of advocate of your trust.
