Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

I am a bachelor staying in an apartment by paying monthly rent of Rs.2500/-. I don't have any rental agreements or deeds in written.Now the brothers of the owner of the property quarelling between them and they asks to pay rent to them.Now to whom I have to pay rent if the legal owner of the property not known.Can any brother of the owner of the property have right to vacate me from apartment.what can i do if any harrassment made by them on me?

In case you have security deposit, adjust the same towards rent (since chance is rare to get back the amount because of quarrel and also no back up paper) first to make it Nil and then leave. Any of the brother can give a notice to you to move out, but dont move unless you get yr security retrurn back.
