Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

My grandmother died leaving a house which is given to her by her father. She died without any will. She has six sons and one daughter. The six sons plan to share the amount after selling the house within themselves without sharing with their sister. Is that possible?????

And they are planning to sign an agreement with the buyer without their sister's signature...is that possible????

sister can file a suit for partition and also seek stay against the sale of the joint property. as per law, even sister has an equal share. what about brothers of your deceased mother and their children?

The answer to both your question is big NO. The sister can file a suit for partition before the court and get a stay order of the property deal.
