Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
hi,
my sisterinlaw has an eye on the house where we are staying since last 25 years. The house is a self earned property by my fatherinlaw. Before his death, he willed all the movable property , ie - shares , gold & bank balance to my sister in law's name ( 3 to 4 lacs ) & the house ( 15 lacs )willed to his son .
My sister inlaw is threatning us sincs last 2 years to leave the house, on the ground of equal share of property for both ( brother & sister) She is forcing us to sell the house & divide the equal share between son & daughter.
I am living in this house since last 25 years & since the year I got married to their son , It would be very difficult for me to sell the house where I stayed such a long period.
The will is a very clearly written on son's name & properly registered by two witnesses, inspite of all she is challenging against the validity of the will & asking for equal share.Do we have any solid point to challenge the sister in law against her wish?

once there is will and its genuine, you need not bother the threats of sister in law. let her take the legal recourse and accordingly you may defend your stand.
