i am in howrah west bengal i posted a add to sell out my property on internet (magicbricks.com). from that a american citizen member of american army who now working at iraq responded.he want to buy the property. my question is to sell out a property to a foreigner is it legal?is there will be any complicacy?

The govt. of India is yet to allow individual foreigners to buy property in India . Only the foreign companies incorporated in India can buy and not the individual foreigners.
