Mysore Miscellaneous and Personal Inams Abolition Act of 1958

One Smt.Munivenkatamma sold land in Sy No.22 of Bidarahalli Village in favour of one Sri.Muniyappa in the year 1954 and the said Sri.Muniyappa re-sold the said land in favour of Smt.Munivenkatamma in the year 1957. again the said Smt.Munivenkatamma along with her sons inturn sold the said land in favour of Sri.C.Venkatasamappa. thereafter one of son of Smt.Munivenkatamma filed an application for occupancy rights hence the Special Deputy Commissioner for Inams Abolition granted occupancy rights on 10/08/1958 i.e, after the date of sale and his name was registered as occupant. however khata was mutated in the name of Sri.C.Munivenkataswamppa on 19/09/1958. nOW the son of Smt.Munivenkatamma claiming to be the owner and has filed a suit. hence please suggest whether he has any legal right.
