Sir, My brother-in-law transferred the house of his mother in his name. My wife was not informed about this transfer. Whether she can claim her share in that property as she is the legal heir.My question is this: Whether the house transferred in the name of my brother-in-law is legal? 2.Whether my wife can claim the share in that house. Please guide.

If transfer was effected during life time of mother of your wife, then there is no question of legal heirs and like issues.
