Sir,

I am having flat and want to rent out. I want clarification on following points.

(i) Is it must that agreement should be made only for 11 months.

(ii) Is it necessary to register the agreement for rent.

(iii) Can same agreement be extended for another 11 month or new agreement to be made.

Pls guide me on above subject.

(i) Is it must that agreement should be made only for 11 months.

It is your free will. The period of 11 months is in circulation as registration is required if lease/rent agreement is for a period of 12 months or above.

(ii) Is it necessary to register the agreement for rent.

(iii) Can same agreement be extended for another 11 month or new agreement to be made.

That would depend upon the terms of agreement. You may do so by providing in the first agreement.
