Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in India

I accidentally send a message which was personal in nature ,intended for my girlfriend to one of my female friend.The message contains my girlfriends pet name.now what should i do if the lady whom the message was was send refuses to delete it??

explain your mistake and tender unconditional apologies seeking her forgiveness.
