I like to file return of income tax for the assessment year 2009-10 for rs. 146000/- online and fill returned under section 153a but only for acknowledgement purpose then income tax officer may impose penalty to me or not ? IF I FILE RETURN ON MAY 2011

if this may 2011 comes in the time limit prescribed for filing returns u can not be penalised
u have just filed it online the income tax returns is not yours whatever penalty they wuld be filing is on the person whose return u have filed
u r answerable to tht person not to tax authorities so just relax
