Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India

Dear Sir/Madam
Querry relates to Charitable trust:
1. For promotion of tree plantation we engaged one trust to distribute wage assistance, plants and monitor transplantation process.
2. Trust did all the job but farmers did not do plantation and our efforts gone waste.
3. Now can we sue trust for cheting of money from us or we may have to make farmers the party to recover the money. as the money has been distributed on our order to farmers and farmers have consented in written form that they will do plantation else will refund money to us.
4. Does the trustee have any indemnity under trust act too.
5. It is almost 2 years and 6 months of the incident.
