Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India

My father passed away in 2007 at Patna, Bihar,India. We are 5 brothers and 4 sisters. He had a plot of about an acre at Patna and on part of that plot he had constructed a 9 bedroom house. There was no will as far as I know and this was told to me when my father was alive. Now my brothers are claiming that there is some paper called 'Family Arrangement' as per which the house and 200 sqm of the land goes to wife of my youngest brother and rest of the land goes to other 4 brothers. All 5 brothers have now decided to sell the land and not share anything with married sister. what can sisters do and what is the legal status of the so called 'Family Arrangement' paper?
