Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India

I am a final year law student. I want to know that where two brothers whose father and mother died intested wants to divide ther movable (gold ornaments) and immovable property then in such a case what kind of document need to be executed? Both the brothers wants to partition it willingly and there is no dispute between them regarding both the properties.
they are intending to do so in order to avoid dispute & misunderstanding in future.
Therefore i want to know the proper legal process of preparing document for such a case.
will a mere notified affidavit do in such a case?
kindly give suggstion, if , any, to be kept in mind while executing such a document?

You may execute and register a Deed of family Settlement. It should be carefully drafted so that there is only a nominal stamp duty.
