Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India

My mothers will was made in Tiruvananthpuram(Kerala) and registered there.If a probate of the will has to be done,has it to be done at the place the will was made or can it be done in another state.Pls advise

THe place where the Will is made and registered is immaterial to decide the place/court where the probate can be filed. The law is that the probate can be filed in the court of a place where the deceased at the time of death had either a fixed residence or had any property moveable or immoveable in that place.
