Legal Question in Disability Law in Indiana

Is migraines a disability

I suffer from migraines and had a note from the doctor like the Human resource said to bring in. I work at a medical factory so the chemical sometimes triggers the migraines and have to go home or miss a day. They said I would have to go to nights because of the migraines. I feel I should not have to go to nights because there would no difference. I asked to use the FLMA and brought the note in and they didn't allow it. There are 300+ people in the factory and I am not the only one with migraines but the only one getting harassed about them. And when I miss I have a note everytime from the doctor like the hadbook says. Can I sue them for discrimentation?

Go to your Yellow Pages and let your fingers do the walking!

Look for Lawyer or Attorney section. Then look for an ad by an

Employment Lawyer. Ask the operator to assist you if necessary.

There might be several bases upon which to bring a case.

It sounds to me like there are OSHA problems causing your migraines and those of others.

Run, dont't walk, to a local lawyer. The Indiana Bar Association may also be able to refer you to a good employment lawyer.

Good luck.
