i purchased a used car as is and drove it for one day and the gear shift went out and the alternater went out i asked the car lot to please help me and they basically told me to get lost so im out 250.00 dollars and do i have to pay the rest of the money for this lemon of a car

Did you also purchase a warranty or did you buy "as-is"? If "as-is" then you are stuck.
