I won a judgement-Now he is filing to vacate it

We had this guy who was going to do some cabnet work for us and he said he had to have $500. up front to order the material-well he kept our money(check) and I won a Judgement and had to go and take extra steps to secure the Judgement because he was in Indiana Now he has detained a lawyer and is trying to vacate the Judgement as is trying to file. Hope you can help.
