Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Indiana

cant afford car loan

my husband bought a new car in 2006 in his name only. I, at the time, was unemployed and without income. At the time my husband had employment that could pay the note on the car but he has since lost that job. I have found employment and he has as well but with our current bills the carnote is becoming too much for us. I have suggested sending the car back and getting something cheaper that we can afford but my husband said if we do that we are still liable for the loan. I dont know what to do. I am scared that one day I will walk out of work and the car will be gone.

Frankly, you do not ask a legal question but I suggest that you seek an attorney who handles bankruptcies soon. As in today.
