Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Indiana

I had an attorney for a custody case that we agreed to payments for. My wife then went to the same lawyer to file bankruptcy. She said we needed to pay the other account in full before she would take the bankruptcy. She represented my wife in her bankruptcy and we never saw another bill. 8 Months later I received a call saying that I owed $900 from a collection agency. I asked for proof of the debt and why I never saw another bill and/or final notice. Now another 8 months later I got a call from another collection agency regarding the same debt. Is there anything I can do?

There isn't anything that you can personally do by yourself in all likelihood. You should turn this over to a a debtors' rights attorney to see what he can do for you.
