Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Indiana

Foreclosure

I am considering foreclosing on my home. I filed bankruptcy that was discharged in April 2006 and my home loan was included according to my credit report yet I still live in my home. I have a second mortgage that was reaffirmed (as should have been my first). If I foreclose on my home will it be only for the second mortage or will I have to deal with the first as well?

Re: Foreclosure

Sorry but usually it is the bank which does the foreclosing on its mortgage. If you did not reaffirm the debt on the property, the banks still have a lien on the property. I think you had better talk to your bankruptcy attorney.
