withholding S B Account

is thier a rule from the RBI that a bank can withhold your saveing account for delayed payment of Credit card due?

It depends on how your contract reads. If you have a credit card from the same company you bank with, this can sometimes happen. How do you have your account set up? Do you have it where automatic payments come out?

If you have auto deduct, then they will continue to take the money out. You can always switch banks.

If that is in your agreement with the credit union, then the money can be withheld.
