What you describe is alternative misdemeanor sentencing or AMS and it would have been part of the written plea agreement you entered if it was offered by the prosecutor and accepted by the Court. You should review a written copy of your plea agreement and discuss what you remember being told and any discrepancy with the plea agreement with the attorney who represented you. You can also consult a new attorney of your choice to see what you should do now if anything.
