Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana

I have a felony on my record that was dismissed by the prosecutors office. On the case paperwork it states that the judge found no evidence for my arrest. I was never notified, never summoned, never served with a court date. How is it legal for the felony to be on my record even if I never had a date to appear in court?

All it probably means is that the police arrested you, but you were never successfully charged. anything that happens to you in the legal system can be "on your record" if it in fact happened to you. If it is causing difficulties, you should contact an attorney in your community about whether and when expungement and sealing of the record might become available.
