Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana

i have a friend who is sitting in jail right now and being charged with sexual misconduct with a minor and we know he is innocent....and now the accuser's family the mom has been heard saying she now thinks her daughter is lying and the stepdad want to talk to him and believes he is innocent how can we legally help him? can the people that heard these right judge or attonery? will it help to have other right the judge too? and once he is proven innocent will his record be clean again? this man has a family and kids that miss him dearly he has been locked up for a month and he hasnt even had rights read to him or seen his attorney this poor guy is just wanting out and other criminals in there are telling him take a plea gets him out and since first offense he get probabtion and he is afraid he wont be allowed around any kids even his own but he is totally innocent he wants to be home how can we get him out?
