Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana

I have a question about a case called sexual misconduct with a minor. the girl is pregnant and is 15 now by a guy that was 23 at the time.. she goes to an alternate school.. and the school had to report the case.. because they say its a part of singing up.. the girl gets a letter in the mail sayin she can make an opinion on what her and the parents want the outcome of the case of the case to be or they can make any suggestion.. if the girl states that she dosent want anything to happen or says that's she's not actually a victim and needs the father of the child.. how much would that help in this case? She got the letter sayin they can make a suggestion but will her word and parents words be enough to end this case? I've heard of some people getting parenting classes or some kind of probation.. but what about this case?

Prosecutors do take those things into consideration. In fact they are required to contact the "victim". However, it is impossible to determine whether or not her wishes alone will cause the case to come to an end. He definitely needs a good attorney to advocate for him
