Legal Question in DUI Law in Indiana

I was arrested for a DUI this last Saturday, and was released on bond. From what I've been hearing, I am not allowed to leave the state without permission from a judge, but I have no idea how to contact him. I am currently a junior in college and one of my classes requires me to go on a study abroad trip to Germany to look at German manufacturing facilities during spring break, starting March 11th. Will I be able to see a judge and get permission before my court date? I currently do not know when my court date is because it is supposed to be mailed to me within 4-6 weeks, but I can't wait to find out until then. Does anyone know if I will be able to get a hold of a judge before then? If so, how do I go about doing this? If this helps, I was arrested and put in the Lake County, IN jail. Thank you!

Generally your bond agreement will tell you any restictions you have. The best thing to do is contact an attorney in Lake County to answer these specific questions. Do not try to contact the judge yourself.
