Legal Question in DUI Law in Indiana

is the bond money applied to the court fees with a first time PI. I was not driving and this is my first offense. I spent the night in jail and the sherriff said that the bond money pays the court cost. I live in Indiana

In most courts, if there is a cash bond still posted at the time of a conviction, the cash bond will be applied to any fine and costs arising as a result of the conviction.
