Re: quit from my course

Dear Student,

Although, i dont come from India but i can certainly advise you on few things as under:-

1. Do not close your bank account otherwise this will result in your institution initiating proceedings of banking fraud or cheating against you.

2. Bear in mind, institution can not waive off your tution fee. However, they may accomodate bonafide requests.

In view thereof, i suggest you get in touch with your institution's finance department, student union, dean of your faculty. Make them aware of your financial situation through writing letter.

3. Tell your institution of the date by which you intend or expect to pay the outstanding fees.

4. If you think you will not be able to arrange for the payment of fee then you may ask your institution to defer your admission until next year and request your institution in writing to not to present cheques to banks.

The above is general advice and must not be taken as legal advice and you better seek legal advice from a local lawyer.

Regards,
