Legal Question in Elder Law in Indiana

I am POA for my parents. I am listed as an executor, along with my siblings, in their will. I was told that I cannot be both, but I know POA ends upon death. Is this true?

You can be both. A power of attorney does terminate upon the death of the person giving the power.
