Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

My 12 year old daughter wants to live with me, her father, not with her mother anymore. How do I go about getting this done.

1. If you have a good relationship with mother, discuss it with her. Maybe the two of you can agree.

2. If you do not have a good relationship, you need to hire an attorney to handle this. Remember, just because a 12 year old says she wants to do something does not mean that everyone should agree to it. (Think about her wanting to date a 15 year old and you will catch my drift).
