Alimony Jurisdiction in Indiana

Divorced in Florida 5 yeras ago. 23 Year marrige, court decreeded i pay significant alimony. Have moved to Indiana.

1. Does Indiana have agreement with Florida to enforce Florida alimony decree.

2. What ramifications if i quit paying alimony.

Kind tired og seeing ex and her live in boyfriend (of 5 years) living in higher standard then me.

The decree can be registered in Indiana and then enforced. If you fail to abide by the decree, you are taking a chance on being held in contempt.

I suggest that you contact a Florida lawyer and determine if there is a way of modifying the decree in Florida.
