Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

annullment

my husband filed for annullment after being married for 3 yrs. first court date i appeared and contested it. asked time to get lawyer they put it off. I havent got a lawyer yet and supposed to go to court tom. i got dates confused. Can I represent myself or do I have to have a lawyer? Will the judge give me more time? I know my husband cant win as long as i contest. Hes just hoping I wont.

You can represent yourself, just like you can give your car an oil change or a tune up. The question is do you know how, and if so, how good of a job can you do? Whether the judge will give you more time depends on the judge and whether you follow the rules and procedures in his or her court.
