Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Gaining more custody (visitation)

I am going back to court to try and get more visitation with my 12 year old daughter. I need some good questions to ask my ex and/or reasons for this. Legally I am not sure what questions to ask. I am self employed, well off,and have alot of time to spend with my daughter.

Re: Gaining more custody (visitation)

One of the first things you need to do is familiarize yourself with the parenting time guidelines. The questions you should ask are about the child's schedule - that is does she have free time when you do? Is she in daycare or with a babysitter when you have free time? More importantly, you need to begin asking for more time now before getting to court so you can show the court that you asked for additional time, it was at reasonable times and you were refused.
