Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

My great neices were placed in foster care because the mother plead guilty to child neglect and the grandmother said she can not care for them. I am the great aunt and I would like them in my home instead of foster care. I live in indiana and they are in kentucky but its only a 50 mile distance. How do I go about this?
