If a judge has already set a motion to terminate parental rights , what is the next step? i have had my nephew for 16 months and am afraid of losing him to drug addict parents..Should i hire my own lawyer?

The answer all depends on what your ultimate goal is, but you should probably talk to your own lawyer to make sure that the child stays with you (if that is what you wish) after any termination is granted.
